Several participating brands have reworked existing recipes and created new variants, reflecting a growing push towards platform-specific offerings in online food delivery.
Swiggy has partnered with restaurant chains including Truffles, A2B-Adyar Ananda Bhavan, Biryani Blues, The Bowl Company, Potful and Lo! Low Carb and Keto Foods to offer platform-exclusive menu items in Bengaluru.
The collaboration brings together a range of dishes available only through Swiggy, including burgers, biryanis, bowls, salads and South Indian meals. Several participating brands have modified existing recipes or introduced new variants for the arrangement.
Among the offerings are protein-focused biryanis from Andhra Gunpowder and Biryani Blues, chicken tandoori from Potful, millet-based breakfast dishes from A2B-Adyar Ananda Bhavan and burgers from Truffles. Other participating brands include Truth Bowl, Caterspoint, Saladspoint and Millet Express.
According to Swiggy, the dishes were developed in collaboration with restaurant partners over a period of 10 to 12 weeks. The company said the menu focuses on higher-protein and modified ingredient formulations across multiple cuisines.
“While we were building EatRight, we realized that there is a huge gap between what people want to eat and what they feel they should eat. Also, some widely loved food items are a strict no-no for the health conscious consumers,” said Swiggy, Vice President – Food Strategy, Customer Experience & New Initiatives, Deepak Maloo.
Swiggy said its EatRight category is available in more than 50 cities and features around 3 million menu items. The company added that it has about 5 million monthly transacting users in the category.
The Bengaluru initiative reflects a broader effort by food delivery platforms and restaurant operators to create differentiated offerings as competition intensifies in India’s online food delivery market.
