A robot vacuum should take work off your plate, not hand you a new gadget to babysit. At Rs 1,34,999, the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete has a lot to prove. For that kind of money, it should clean well, stay out of trouble, and not demand much from you.
Dreame’s flagship mostly gets there. Here is my experience with the Rs 1.3 lakh machine.
It Gets On With the Job
Most robot vacuums make you sit through a separate mapping run before they do anything useful. The X60 Ultra Complete skips that. It starts cleaning straight away and builds the map as it goes.
You will still tweak rooms and boundaries in the app. But it removes the feeling of a setup chore standing between you and a clean floor, and that sets the tone for the whole experience.
Vacuuming Is Strong, Mopping Is Good but Wet
That 35,000Pa figure is a claimed peak, not a guarantee of how it will perform in your living room. Brush design and how well the bot gets into edges matter just as much, and Dreame pairs the suction with a detangling brush and an extendable side brush. In testing, the vacuuming was impressive.
Mopping is good too, with one catch: it leaves floors wetter than you would like. It is not puddle territory in any way, and the floor is not slippery at all, but moisture seems to linger. It was most obvious on tiles.
For context:
15N is roughly 1.5 kilograms of force pressing the pads down, which is why the pads scrub instead of just dragging a damp cloth about. The 230RPM spin adds to that. The dock washes the pads in water heated to 100 degrees Celsius and dries them with hot air, so you aren’t handling grubby mops between runs.
Cable Handling Looks Promising
Cables are the classic robot vacuum nemesis. A bot that keeps swallowing charger wires defeats the point of automation. Here, cables did not get stuck in testing, which is encouraging. This was honestly refreshing.
Dreame says the AI system recognises more than 280 object types. No obstacle system is perfect, and thickness, colour, and placement all matter. That said, the X60 Ultra Complete did a commendable job dodging and avoiding objects that blocked its path. That said, I would suggest that you keep your floor as clear as possible to get the best cleaning possible.
Design And Dock: This is Where The Money Goes
This is where the X60 Ultra Complete earns its flagship badge. The LiDAR sensor retracts to let the 7.95cm body slip under furniture, and the lights around it change as it moves. It looks cool, and the retraction does a practical job. However, do check your furniture clearance before assuming it will go everywhere.
The robot also extends its side brush and mop pads to reach edges and corners. Its retractable legs help it climb over thresholds.
The dock looks like it belongs at the top end of the market. It empties the robot, refills water, washes and dries the pads, and dispenses cleaning solution. That automation matters because the robot’s own dustbin is a small 235ml, so it leans heavily on the dock.
You will still replace dust bags, top up water, and clean the dock from time to time, so leave room for easy access to the tanks.
Battery Life: Reasonable
One 45-minute cleaning cycle used about 21 per cent of the battery. In a roughly 250 square foot area, the battery dropped from 100 per cent to 50 per cent over 1 hour 54 minutes.
That is actually decent for the space. Suction level, mopping settings, and how dirty the floor is will all change the above numbers, so it is important that you consider your carpet area before you buy this product.
The App Does Too Much and Explains Too Little
The companion app gives you room-by-room cleaning, schedules, history, and plenty of settings. Voice control works with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home. That said, the app feels a bit cluttered, with options scattered across menus, and basic tasks can turn into a hunt if you are not used to the app.
The voice control is also command-based, not a free-flowing conversation. That would have been amazing, though. Hence, do not expect to chat your way through a clean. The features are valuable, without a doubt. However, Dreame needs to organise them a bit better, especially for first-time users.
One More Thing: Water Tank Upkeep
The dirty-water tank fills up in about 2 to 3 days. If you mop often, that is a chore you will notice. There are rivals to this product with larger tanks that can go much longer between visits. However, this is not a deal breaker in any way.
What Stood Out?
Strong vacuuming
The dock that does most of the maintenance
Great performance if the household has low furniture or raised thresholds
Extremely premium look for a device that lives in your home
Voice control powered by Alexa, Siri, and Google Home
Verdict: Should You Buy The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete?
The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is a confident flagship. It maps while it cleans, vacuums well, handles cables better than you might expect, and has the best-looking dock in its lineup. The mopping finish is good, the app is a bit busy, and the quick-filling dirty-water tank needs to be checked manually and cleaned accordingly.
At this price point, you are simply paying for convenience, and the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete delivers that in a remarkable fashion. This product is a strong pick.
The listed price of the Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is Rs 1,34,999. However, as part of the festive offer, the product is available on Amazon at a discounted price of Rs 1,29,999 until Diwali, after which the price will revert to its original cost.
