Abercrombie & Fitch Joins Myntra Jabong For India Entry

The agreement will enable Myntra Jabong to establish brick-and-mortar retail stores, regional ecommerce sites, and branded digital storefronts 

 

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has disclosed about a multi-year strategic franchise partnership with Myntra Jabong India, marking the company’s foray into the Indian market. The collaboration will focus on expanding the reach of Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister brands in the country.
The agreement will enable Myntra Jabong to establish brick-and-mortar retail stores, regional ecommerce sites, and branded digital storefronts through a network of licensed and independent third parties.
Fran Horowitz, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch Co., highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating, “India is an incredibly dynamic and diverse market with tremendous long-term potential. Partnering with Myntra Jabong aligns with our global brand growth strategy, allowing us to better connect with customers in India.”
Myntra, a leading player in India’s fashion and lifestyle space, boasts 70 million monthly active users and a strong presence across 95 per cent of the country’s pincodes. Nandita Sinha, CEO of Myntra, expressed enthusiasm, saying, “We are thrilled to bring the iconic Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister brands to India. This partnership leverages Myntra’s tech and fashion expertise to tap into India’s growing fashion-forward audience.”
