Cantabil Retail India has reported its highest-ever revenue, ebitda and net profit for the financial year ended 31 March 2025, marking a robust year for the homegrown apparel brand amid challenging market conditions.

The company clocked a 17 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue from operations to Rs 721.1 crore in FY25, up from Rs 615.6 crore in FY24. Net profit (PAT) surged 20 per cent to a record Rs 74.9 crore, while ebitda grew 26 per cent to Rs 205 crore. The ebitda margin improved to 28.4 per cent, compared to 26.4 per cent last year.

The fourth quarter of FY25 also saw healthy growth, with revenue rising 13 per cent to Rs 219 crore and PAT increasing by 23 per cent to Rs 22.5 crore. ebitda for the quarter rose by 31 per cent to Rs 58.6 crore, with margins improving to 26.8 per cent.

Cantabil added 66 net stores during the year, taking its total retail footprint to 599 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) across India.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Vijay Bansal, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “We are pleased to report a historic performance for FY25. This achievement highlights the strength of the Cantabil brand and our customer-first approach. Despite macro headwinds, we witnessed strong volume growth and continued expansion.”

He added that improving consumer sentiment, aided by predictions of an above-normal monsoon, is expected to boost the retail sector further, with Cantabil well-positioned to capitalise on emerging opportunities.

Founded in 1989, Cantabil designs, manufactures and retails a wide range of apparel through its own stores. Its manufacturing base in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, produces over 15 lakh garments annually.
