Garden Vareli Unveils ‘Bloom In Garden’ At Bharat Tex 2025

PM Modi visits exhibition, brand embarks on a new era under TCG

Garden Vareli, a revered name in India’s textile industry, has entered an exciting new phase under the ownership of The Chatterjee Group (TCG). At Bharat Tex 2025, the brand showcased its latest collection, ‘Bloom in Garden,’ a fusion of elegance, craftsmanship, and modern fashion. Accompanying this launch was ‘Prints of India,’ a tribute to India’s rich textile heritage, further expanding the brand’s offerings.

The prestigious exhibition received a major boost with the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited on 16th February. His participation reaffirmed the government’s commitment to accelerating growth in the textile sector, strengthening the Make in India initiative.

During his visit to the Garden-MCPI stall, Prime Minister Modi interacted with senior executives from leading textile firms, including Garden® Vareli’s CEO, Amitava Banerjee. Discussions revolved around the current landscape of the manmade fibre-based textile industry and strategic initiatives for its development.

The exhibition’s inauguration on 14th February was attended by Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh, who also visited the Garden-MCPI stall. Debi Prasad Patra, Managing Director of MCPI, and Mahendra Singh Bhadouria, CEO of the Vareli Division, highlighted TCG Group’s unique advantage in integrating PTA, yarn, and fabric production to deliver enhanced value to consumers.

With a legacy dating back to the 1970s, Garden Vareli has revolutionized sarees with innovation and artistic flair. Now, under TCG’s leadership, the brand is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan, including the launch of Exclusive Brand Outlets across India. These outlets will feature signature collections and bespoke fashion experiences for women across generations.

Commenting on the launch, Debi Prasad Patra, Director of GSMPL (Garden Silk Mills), said, “With ‘Bloom in Garden,’ we celebrate the essence of Indian women through timeless fabrics that reflect their identity and aspirations. ‘Prints of India’ further enriches our collections with vibrant designs that honour our heritage.”

As Garden Vareli redefines itself under TCG, it is set to become a one-stop destination for women’s fashion, seamlessly blending tradition with modernity. The unveiling of ‘Bloom in Garden’ at Bharat Tex 2025 marks the beginning of a new era for the brand—one rooted in innovation, craftsmanship, and accessibility.
