PN Gadgil Jewellers Q1 Profit Rises 52% To Rs 105 Cr

Revenue grows 40.7 per cent and operating margin improves to 7.6 per cent in the April–June quarter

 

P N Gadgil Jewellers reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 51.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 105 crore, driven by robust revenue growth and improved operating margins.

Revenue from operations increased 40.7 per cent to Rs 2,413 crore in the April–June quarter, compared with Rs 1,715 crore in the corresponding period last year, reflecting healthy demand for jewellery during the quarter.

The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) rose 65.8 per cent to Rs 182 crore from Rs 110 crore a year earlier. Ebitda margin expanded to 7.6 per cent from 6.4 per cent in the year-ago period, indicating stronger operating performance.

Following the earnings announcement, shares of P N Gadgil Jewellers gained 5.26 per cent to trade at Rs 681.05 at around 3.20 p.m. The stock outperformed the broader market, with the NSE Nifty 50 trading 0.97 per cent higher during the same period.

The stock opened at Rs 654.70, compared with its previous closing price of Rs 647. During the trading session, it moved between Rs 652.10 and Rs 695.

Over the past 52 weeks, the stock has traded in the range of Rs 503 to Rs 736.40. On a year-on-year basis, shares of P N Gadgil Jewellers have gained 18.93 per cent.
