Titan Unveils India’s First Wandering Hours Timepiece

The watchmaker’s latest festive collection marks a defining moment in Indian horology, blending celestial inspiration, innovation, and craftsmanship

Titan has unveiled Stellar 3.0 – Inspired by the Infinite, its new festive collection that reimagines celestial beauty through advanced horology. The launch marks a defining chapter in Titan’s four-decade journey, introducing India’s first-ever Wandering Hours timepiece, alongside two other limited-edition creations — Ice Meteorite and Aurora Caelum.
The exclusive launch, held at Bastian at the Top in Mumbai, celebrated Titan’s evolution from a national design icon to a serious player in global horology. At the heart of Stellar 3.0 lies the Wandering Hours, a mechanical marvel inspired by orbiting moons and drifting stars. Its floating numerals glide gracefully across a sculpted arc, echoing the cosmic dance of celestial bodies. Twin satellite discs, crafted from crystallised titanium and framed with a brushed copper bezel, rotate with precision across the minute track — a poetic display of time in motion.
Powered by Titan’s in-house movement, this masterpiece comes in a limited run of only 500 pieces, priced at Rs 1,79,995. Its debut signifies Titan’s entry into the realm of complex mechanical watchmaking — a milestone that redefines the possibilities of Indian horology.

Merging the Celestial and the Mechanical
Beyond the Wandering Hours, Stellar 3.0 expands the cosmic narrative with two equally striking models. The Ice Meteorite makes a dramatic return from previous editions, this time featuring a mesmerising ice-blue dial crafted from authentic 120,000-year-old Muonionalusta meteorite, priced at Rs 1,39,995. This rare material bridges the mysteries of deep space with bold, contemporary design.
Meanwhile, the Aurora Caelum, priced at Rs 95,995, channels the ethereal glow of the northern lights. Its luminous green dial and astral discs evoke a sense of motion and wonder, embodying Titan’s creative philosophy — where art, science, and storytelling converge.
Kuruvilla Markose, CEO – Watches & Wearables, Titan Company Limited, called Stellar 3.0 a transformative milestone. “For 41 years, Titan has defined Indian watchmaking through creativity and craftsmanship. Stellar 1.0 sparked a new conversation in design, Stellar 2.0 elevated precision and detail, and now Stellar 3.0 takes a bold leap into uncharted territory,” Markose said.
“The Wandering Hours marks a defining moment as we gear up to place Indian horology firmly on the global map. This is only the beginning, and we are committed to taking Indian watchmaking to even greater heights.”
The Stellar 3.0 collection is available exclusively at select Titan stores and online. For India’s growing community of collectors and enthusiasts, it represents more than a luxury purchase — it’s a celebration of India’s journey towards global watchmaking excellence.
Titan Company (“Titan”), a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), began operations in 1987 under the name Titan Watches.
