The limited-period collaboration combines Korean skincare and contemporary jewellery to offer young Indian consumers a value-led, experience-driven festive gifting proposition
Korean skincare brand The Face Shop has partnered with contemporary jewellery brand Palmonas for Raksha Bandhan, bringing together skincare and jewellery in a cross-category gifting proposition aimed at younger Indian consumers.
Titled ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’, the collaboration is built around the idea that festive gifting is increasingly moving beyond conventional categories, with consumers seeking products that are useful, personal and memorable.
The partnership combines The Face Shop’s Korean skincare expertise with Palmonas’ contemporary jewellery offering, creating a gifting experience that pairs everyday self-care with a keepsake intended to last beyond the festive occasion.
Under the limited-period offer, consumers shopping for Rs 3,000 or more on The Face Shop’s website receive complimentary Palmonas jewellery worth Rs 3,000. Similarly, consumers shopping for Rs 3,000 or more receive The Face Shop products worth Rs 3,000. The offer is available through the brands’ websites until Rakhi, subject to stock availability.
The campaign is supported by a festive film that captures the familiar dynamics of sibling relationships, from playful arguments and teasing to the underlying bond and understanding between siblings. The narrative culminates in a Rakhi gesture, bringing the campaign thought of ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’ to life.
The collaboration also reflects the growing use of cross-category partnerships by brands looking to create relevance beyond their traditional product categories. For The Face Shop, the association extends its skincare proposition into lifestyle-led gifting, while giving consumers an opportunity to discover jewellery alongside beauty products.
Aashriya Sharma, Head of Marketing, The Face Shop, said: “At The Face Shop, we see skincare as an expression of care, and Rakhi gives us an opportunity to translate that thought into a more meaningful gifting experience. Our partnership with Palmonas brings together two complementary categories: Korean skincare and contemporary jewellery to create a proposition that is both useful and memorable.”
She added, “With ‘A Bond That Glows Forever’, we wanted to capture the wonderfully imperfect sibling relationship and turn that emotion into a tangible gifting experience. The collaboration also allows us to explore how The Face Shop can participate in lifestyle and cultural moments beyond skincare, while staying true to our core proposition of care.”
The collaboration is available exclusively through The Face Shop until Rakhi and while stocks last. The proposition is targeted at young Rakhi shoppers looking for gifting options that combine value, utility and emotional relevance.
For both brands, the partnership offers an opportunity to tap complementary consumer audiences while building a culturally relevant festive proposition. It also highlights how occasion-led collaborations can help brands create differentiated consumer experiences and broaden their relevance beyond their core categories.
