Marking its foray into the country’s Rs 16,000 crore toy industry, 3D printing company WOL3D has unveiled Vinglits, a 3D-printed flexible toy brand. The company said that the collection seeks to blend tactile joy, tech-powered design, and artistic flair, all wrapped into a homegrown concept.
Positioned as the country’s first 3D-printed flexible toy brand, Vinglits aims to capture a significant share by setting a target of selling a ‘huge quantity’ in 2025, the company said in a statement. With an in-house manufacturing capacity of six lakh toys annually, the company is eyeing to meet market demand.
“With Vinglits, we are rewriting the rules of play by taking advanced 3D printing technology out of industrial confines and placing it into the hands of everyday users across age groups. Crafted using our proprietary biodegradable materials and proudly Made in India, it reflects the power of Indian ingenuity to shape global conversations around design, sustainability, and the future of manufacturing,” said Rahul Chandalia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), WOL3D.
WOL3D is partnering with leading distributors and retail powerhouses to position Vinglits as more than just a toy, the official statement noted, while adding that India’s 3D printing sector is expected to grow at a 20 to 25 per cent compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) in 2025, with consumer applications at the forefront. The Indian toy industry has witnessed a 240 per cent rise in exports since 2014, the company said.
