The Body Shop Expands in India with New and Revamped Stores

New Workshop stores celebrate local culture, while the Bengaluru store offers an immersive shopping experience

The Body Shop, the international ethical beauty brand, has expanded its presence in India with the opening of new Workshop stores in Hubli (Karnataka) and Pitampura, New Delhi, along with a revamped store in Indiranagar, Bengaluru.

According to the company statement, the new Workshop stores are designed to provide immersive retail experiences that combine beauty products with cultural and community elements. The Hubli store at Inorbit Mall features artwork celebrating the city’s weaving heritage and women artisans, while the Delhi store at Elegante Mall incorporates murals inspired by Pitampura’s cultural landscape. Both stores showcase the brand’s India Edit Marigold range.

The Indiranagar store in Bengaluru has been reimagined to offer a sensorial shopping experience, reflecting the area’s blend of cultural heritage and contemporary vibrancy.

“Our new Workshop stores in Hubli and Delhi, alongside our reimagined Bengaluru space, are more than retail outlets—they are vibrant hubs of connection. Each store uniquely celebrates local culture and craftsmanship while championing our global mission: to make beauty a genuine force for good through sustainable and ethical practice. Founded in 1976 in Brighton, England, by Dame Anita Roddick, The Body Shop now operates nearly 200 stores across India, continuing its strategy of expanding in both metropolitan and emerging urban markets in partnership with Quest Retail.
