As it marks four decades in the PC industry, Gigabyte unveils a consumer engagement campaign in India that combines hardware purchases, gaming, and community storytelling, underscoring the company’s effort to strengthen its connection with the country’s growing enthusiast PC ecosystem. The initiative, called Enter Infinity India, will run from 1 November to 31 December 2026 and offers participants opportunities to win rewards ranging from Amazon gift vouchers and AORUS merchandise to gaming monitors and other Gigabyte products.
The campaign arrives at a milestone moment for the Taiwanese technology company, whose journey spans much of the modern PC era. Founded in 1986, Gigabyte built its reputation on motherboards before expanding into graphics cards, monitors, laptops, storage products and AI-focused computing solutions.
At the centre of the campaign are three participation tracks: Build a Rig, Play a Run and Share Your Story. Each reflects a different aspect of PC culture, from assembling high-performance systems and gaming to celebrating long-lasting hardware experiences.
The Build a Rig component is anchored by the AORUS Full House programme, which rewards consumers purchasing eligible Gigabyte and AORUS products across multiple categories. Buyers can earn Amazon gift vouchers valued at up to Rs 15,500 depending on the breadth of their hardware build. Additional rewards include AORUS-branded merchandise and bonus incentives for selected AORUS Infinity products. Eligible product categories include graphics cards, motherboards, power supplies, coolers, cases, monitors and SSDs.
For gaming enthusiasts, the campaign introduces AORUS Infinity Run, a browser-based game designed around the company’s 40-year journey. Optimised for mobile devices, the game takes players through five eras of hardware development, starting from the company’s early years and extending into the AI era. Players can participate without creating an account and are entered into monthly prize draws after submitting completed runs. Gigabyte is also encouraging social engagement by rewarding users who share their scores on Instagram while tagging the brand and using campaign hashtags.
The third pillar, Share Your Story, seeks to tap into the nostalgia and loyalty often associated with enthusiast PC hardware. Through a programme called Still Running, users can submit stories about Gigabyte products that have remained functional over the years, have been passed on to new owners, or continue to operate in existing systems. Entries can be shared through Instagram, Reddit, or an online submission form. More than 20 prizes are on offer, including Gigabyte hardware, with winners selected across categories such as Best Story, Best Second Life, Most Loyal Builder and Still Running.
According to Sunil Grewal, Director, Gigabyte India, the campaign is intended to recognise the community that has supported the brand through decades of rapid technological change. He noted that the trust of PC builders and enthusiasts has played a key role in the company’s longevity and said the anniversary initiative is designed to place customers at the centre of the celebration.
The campaign also serves to highlight several milestones in Gigabyte’s history. The company points to innovations including DualBIOS technology introduced in 1999, Ultra Durable motherboards launched in 2006, and its WINDFORCE cooling technology, which debuted in 2010 and became a defining feature of its graphics card portfolio. Today, its premium gaming products are marketed under the AORUS brand, with the recently announced AORUS Infinity Series forming part of the anniversary narrative.
From a market perspective, Enter Infinity reflects a broader trend among PC hardware vendors that are increasingly investing in community-led engagement rather than relying solely on product launches. In India, where gaming, content creation, and DIY PC building continue to gain traction, campaigns that blend rewards, gaming experiences, and user-generated content are becoming an important tool for strengthening brand loyalty and expanding enthusiast communities.
