Kalyan Jewellers Sees 31% YoY Consolidated Revenue Growth In Q1

The quarter recorded healthy same-store-sales-growth of approximately 18 per cent, the company notes in a regulatory filing

Despite multiple pauses in demand during the quarter, Kalyan Jewellers has posted consolidated revenue growth of approximately 31 per cent in the first quarter of the financial year (Q1FY26) when compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

The company’s India operations witnessed revenue growth of around 31 per cent during Q1FY26 as compared to Q1FY25, driven primarily by robust Akshaya Tritiya and wedding demand. The quarter recorded healthy same-store-sales-growth of approximately 18 per cent, the company said in a regulatory filing.

“Our international operations recorded revenue growth of approximately 31 per cent when compared to the same period during the previous financial year. In the Middle East, we witnessed revenue growth of approximately 26 per cent for Q1FY26 as compared to Q1FY25 driven predominantly by same-store-sales-growth,” the company noted.

International markets contributed approximately 15 per cent to our consolidated revenue for the recently concluded quarter. The company’s digital-first jewellery platform, Candere, recorded a revenue growth of approximately 67 per cent during the recently concluded quarter on YoY basis.

During the recently concluded quarter, the company opened 10 Kalyan showrooms in India, one Kalyan showroom in the United States and eight Candere showrooms in India. During FY26, the company plans to open 170 showrooms across Kalyan and Candere formats. This involves 75 Kalyan showrooms in non-south India (including five larger-format flagship Kalyan showrooms), 15 Kalyan showrooms across south India and international markets and 80 Candere showrooms in India.

“The ongoing quarter has started off well and we are upbeat about the upcoming new showroom launches, gearing up with fresh collections and campaigns for the upcoming festive and wedding season across the country,” the company said. As of 30 June 2025, the company’s total number of showrooms across India and the Middle East stood at 406.
