Amar Sinha To Lead Allied Blenders & Distillers As MD

Amar Sinha’s experience spans sales, marketing, brand building, operational scale up and organisational transformation across diverse consumer categories

Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD) said that its board of directors has approved the appointment of Amar Sinha as Managing Director (MD) Designate effective 2 April 2026. Sinha succeeds Alok Gupta, whose tenure as Managing Director is nearing completion.

Sinha brings over three decades of leadership experience across the alco beverage and consumer sectors. Over the course of his career, he has led corporations through phases of transformation and growth while building strong brands and businesses. His leadership journey includes roles as Chief Operating Officer at Radico Khaitan, Managing Director at Whyte & Mackay India and executive positions at Herbertsons (UB Group) and others.

“I am delighted to be joining ABD at this important stage of the journey. ABD has built a strong presence in the Indian alco-beverage industry over the years, with a solid portfolio of brands. I look forward to working with the team and driving strategy for the next phase of growth,” stated Amar Sinha, Managing Director – Designate, ABD.
