In a major career update, Ananya Birla has informed that she has taken charge of Birla Cosmetics as Founder and Managing Director. Birla Cosmetics currently houses brands like Lovetc and Contraband.
Taking to LinkedIn, Birla wrote, “I am late; however, I am happy to share that I have started a new position as Founder, MD of Birla Cosmetics, which currently houses brands, Lovetc and Contraband.”
Birla began her career as a singer-songwriter with the Universal Music Group in June 2016. Post this, she became the Brand Ambassador of Maybelline New York for over one and half years. In March 2012, Birla took over as Founder, Chairperson and Director of Svatantra Microfin, a position she holds even currently.
Birla is also the Co-founder of Mpower, an initiative of Aditya Birla Education Trust. She is also the Founder of Ananya Birla Foundation. In addition to these roles, she serves as the Director of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail since January 2023. She is the Director of Grasim Industry as well, a post she has held since February 2023. Recently, she became the Director of Hindalco Industries.
