Bigbasket, a Tata Enterprise, has appointed Arpit Jaiswal as its Chief Growth Officer, as the company looks to sharpen focus on profitable growth and category leadership in India’s fast-evolving quick commerce and online grocery market.
In this role, Jaiswal will lead growth across product, user acquisition, retention and market expansion. He will work closely with cross-functional teams to deepen customer engagement, drive monetisation efficiency and scale bigbasket’s presence across urban and emerging markets.

The company said that he brings a strong blend of growth strategy, product leadership and business acumen from his tenure at Google Pay. As Head of Growth and Group Product Manager, he led large-scale user acquisition through partnerships and AI-led interventions, while driving disciplined OpEx management and P&L optimisation for India operations.
