Designed to meet diverse refrigeration needs, Blue Star has notified the introduction of an extensive range of commercial refrigeration products for the summer of 2025. The company aims to capitalise on rising opportunities and expand its commercial refrigeration business.
The company stated that it has developed a wide portfolio that caters to segments including horticulture, ice cream, dairy, processed foods, quick service restaurants and Horeca, among others. The portfolio includes deep freezers, storage, water coolers and a range of other refrigeration products.
In the deep freezer segment, the company offers optimal cooling performance down to -26 degrees Celsius and the range of storage capacities allows it to serve a wider consumer base across industries, as per the official statement. As demand for chilled water solutions grows, the company’s storage water coolers aim to meet the needs of educational institutions as well as corporate offices.
“The commercial refrigeration industry is witnessing strong growth, driven by demand from ice cream original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), QSR chains, Horeca sector, quick commerce, food retail and healthcare. The growing trend of outside-the-home consumption, especially in perishable foods, is a major growth driver,” said B Thiagarajan, Managing Director, Blue Star.
As far as the distribution and service network is concerned, the company stated that its 2,100 sales and service channel partners are trained to sell, install and maintain refrigeration products across 900 towns. The company added that its deep freezers and water coolers are manufactured at plants in Wada and Ahmedabad.
Thiagarajan added that the company is aiming to enhance its market position by its offerings. The MD added that the company has made investments in digitalisation and internet of things (IoT) technologies to improve product offerings and streamline operations. With its diverse product range and a promising summer season ahead, the company is confident in its growth projects for this financial year and beyond.
