Brand Concepts Sets Up New Manufacturing Unit For Tommy Hilfiger Travel Gear

This move enables the company to diversify its manufacturing base beyond China, enhancing its resilience against global disruptions

Brand Concepts, a company in the fashion and lifestyle retail industry, has notified the establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Ujjain-Indore region. This unit will contribute to the production of Tommy Hilfiger travel gear, directed towards providing premium travel gear and strengthening its localised supply chain.

Known for introducing global fashion and lifestyle brands to the Indian market, the company is now taking a step toward building deeper operational roots in the country. The company’s long-term mission involves localising premium product manufacturing, as per the official statement.

“Having direct control over the production process allows us to uphold Tommy Hilfiger’s globally recognised quality standards across all products manufactured locally. By producing in India, we are not only driving cost efficiencies through reduced import duties and logistics expenses, but also offering more competitive pricing to our consumers,” highlighted Abhinav Kumar, Co-founder of Brand Concepts.

Kumar emphasised that this move enables the company to diversify its manufacturing base beyond China, enhancing its resilience against global disruptions. Localising production also allows greater agility and insulates it from sudden shifts in import policies or tariffs, ensuring operational stability.

With a portfolio of international licensed brands and its own proprietary labels, Brand Concepts is an omnichannel retail player specialising in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of premium fashion accessories, travel gear, and lifestyle products.
