Crepdog Crew (CDC), a cultural retail platform for premium streetwear and homegrown fashion, has crossed the Rs 130 crore revenue mark from Rs 1.9 crore in 2020. Looking ahead, CDC is gearing up for a series A round in the coming quarter.
The company claimed that its flagship stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad are among the highest-performing retail environments in their category. Each store has been developed with an independent design identity; the Delhi flagship draws from New York street culture, Mumbai brings a gallery-like refinement and houses Asia’s largest sneaker wall and Hyderabad explores a deeply Indian interpretation of modern luxury.
“Our vision has never been only about retail. What we have built is a platform that decides what India’s premium youth pays attention to next and the brands, collaborations and cultural moments we have created are proof that when you get culture right, the business follows. We are just getting started,” stated Anchit Kapil, Co-founder, Crepdog Crew.
The company is focused on expanding its retail footprint across major Indian cities, scaling its homegrown apparel and in-house brand business and deepening its global collaboration pipeline, it emphasised in its official statement.
CDC now serves as the official retail partner for global brands, including Casio, Fila, and Ultrahuman. The company added that India’s premium consumer market is now seeing a rapidly expanding segment of urban youth consumers who are globally aware, culturally literate, and willing to pay full price for products that carry genuine identity and authenticity.
“This is a consumer cohort that does not respond to discounts or mass marketing and one that CDC has spent six years building a deep, trust-based relationship with. That relationship is CDC’s real moat,” it noted.
