Unveils ‘Healthy & Tasty – For Chef’ range at Aahar 2026 to expand presence in institutional foodservice
Emami Agrotech, the edible oils and food products arm of the Rs 30,000-crore Emami Group, has launched a new product line, “Healthy & Tasty – For Chef”, aimed at the hotel, restaurant and catering (HoReCa) and institutional foodservice market.
The company said it is looking to expand its presence in the institutional segment and is targeting revenue of about Rs 2,000 crore from the HoReCa business over the next two to three years.
Developed specifically for professional kitchens, the portfolio is designed to meet the operational needs of restaurants, caterers and institutional buyers where product consistency, quality and efficiency are critical.
Introduced under the company’s flagship Healthy and Tasty brand, the “FOR CHEF” range includes several variants of edible oils along with key pantry staples such as whole, pure and blended spices, fresh chakki atta, maida, sooji, besan and soya chunks. The products are offered in larger pack sizes tailored for institutional consumption and high-volume kitchen operations.
Emami Agrotech said it plans to expand the portfolio further in the coming months by adding sauces, condiments, ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products targeted at the foodservice ecosystem.
To lead the vertical, the company has appointed Samantha Dutta as Senior Vice President for Food Services, QSR, Modern Trade and Alternate Channels. Dutta brings more than 27 years of experience across the HoReCa, quick-service restaurant and B2B foodservice sectors.
Dutta said the “For Chef” portfolio reflects the company’s effort to support professional kitchens with high-quality products aligned with evolving customer needs, while offering solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and enabling menu innovation for foodservice partners.
Jayant Goenka said the HoReCa sector represents a large and fast-growing consumption ecosystem with significant potential. He added that the launch of the “Healthy & Tasty – For Chef” range marks the company’s effort to expand its focus beyond retail, with a portfolio spanning edible oils and essential pantry ingredients designed to help chefs and foodservice partners deliver consistent quality at scale.
