Business Operations
The company’s net sales in the third quarter of the financial year 2026 were up 4 per cent, driven by premiumisation and positive price-mix. The premium volumes grew ahead of the portfolio, bringing year-to-date net sales growth to 6 per cent.

The productivity and cost effectiveness program notified earlier will continue through the current financial year. Some of the early benefits of the program have supported the margin delivery. “We expect this program to deliver gross savings of 3 to 6 per cent in the total cost base over time, with a substantial share of these efficiencies planned for strategic reinvestment to support sustained growth,” the company earlier noted.

Soufflet Malt, a maltster, notified a new project to build a state-of-the-art malthouse in South Rajasthan, India, in partnership with United Breweries or UBL. The new facility will provide high-quality malt for brewing of iconic beers such as Kingfisher and Heineken, reflecting both companies’ goal of delivering beer to consumers in India while supporting sustainable agriculture, job creation and regional economic growth.
