Marking balanced growth across topline and bottomline, Gillette India delivered sales of Rs 3,100 crore in the financial year 2026, clocking an 8 per cent year-on-year growth. The company reported sales of Rs 792 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26, an increase of 3 per cent YoY.
The financial results of the company revealed that the net profit for the fourth quarter was Rs 193 crore, up 21 per cent on-year. The net profit for the full fiscal was Rs 654 crore, marking a 23 per cent growth on a YoY basis, the company said in an exchange filing.
As the company changed its financial year from 1 July- 30 June to 1 April- 31 March last year, the financial year of the company covered a period of nine months (from July to March). The performance has been indexed versus the comparable 12 months period in the last year (1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025).
“Our consistent results over the years reflect disciplined execution of our integrated growth strategy, anchored in a focused portfolio of daily-use categories where product performance drives brand choice, superiority across product performance, packaging, brand communication, retail execution and value, productivity, constructive disruption and an agile and accountable organisation,” stated V Kumar, Managing Director, Gillette India.
Board of directors of the company have recommended a final dividend of Rs 60 per equity share (nominal value of Rs 10 each), for the financial year ended 31 March 2026. The dividend shall be paid on or before 18 September 2026, on approval of the members at the ensuing 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The company also shared that Ashwath Rao has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company with effect from 1 July 2026. Srividya Srinivasan shall cease to be Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from 30 June 2026. However, Srinivasan shall continue to be a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company, being designated as Vice-President Finance and the Finance Head of the company.
