Giva, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) jewellery brand, has introduced Giva Go, a quick delivery service across four cities, as per reports. The same-day and next-day delivery is currently available in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The reports noted the move is directed towards improving fulfilment timelines as consumer expectations for quicker delivery are becoming a trend in ecommerce. The facility for the delivery within 24 hours is for a curated set of products.
In case deliveries are to take place on the same day, the order needs to be picked up between 12 pm and 1 pm. On the other hand, the reports noted that those processed by 3 PM are delivered within a few hours in select zones. As per the reports, logistics partnerships and dark stores enable the fulfilment.
Through this, the brand is aiming to strengthen its role in the country’s evolving ecommerce ecosystem and reaffirm its commitment to creating a trust-led experience for consumers, the reports mentioned. As far as the service is concerned, it is currently limited to select products and is likely to expand to more areas.
