Nitin Agarwal, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Director of Globalbees Brands, a subsidiary of FirstCry’s parent Brainbees Solutions, has tendered his resignation, citing personal reasons. Agarwal ceased to be the Director and senior management personnel of the Company, effective 24 April 2025.
In a stock exchange filing, the company stated that Agarwal will be available to assist with all transition actions until close of business hours on 23 May 2025. Anuj Jain, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of FirstCry’s pre-school segment and Senior Vice President (SVP), Marketing of the company, has taken charge as the CEO of Globalbees Brands and the senior management personnel of the company from 25 April 2025, the statement read.
In his letter to the Board of Directors of Globalbees Brands, Agarwal wrote, “I, Nitin Agarwal, tender my resignation from the position of CEO of Globalbees, a subsidiary of Brainbees Solutions, due to personal reasons, with effect from close of business hours of 23 May 2025. I hereby also resign from the position of Director of Globalbees with effect from the close of business hours of 24 April 2025.”
Having graduated from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Anuj Jain has been an integral part of the management of the company since July 2012 and has over 23 years of industry experience, including companies like ITC and L’Oréal, the company added in the statement.
