The collection presents a range of acetate optical frames that combine modern attitude with archival references
Gucci has unveiled its spring summer 2026 eyewear campaign, celebrating individuality and self-expression through an intimate series of close-up portraits and videos. The new campaign captures diverse personalities and attitudes, bringing focus to distinctive eyewear silhouettes that blend contemporary design with the House’s iconic codes.
The collection presents a range of acetate optical frames that combine modern attitude with archival references. Distinctive styles include rimless cat-eye sunglasses adorned with gold-toned metal bamboo temples and crystals, alongside a pilot silhouette crafted in gold-toned metal with a bamboo top bar, as per the official statement.
The collection introduces new eyewear silhouettes ranging from sleek modern profiles to retro-inspired designs. Gucci pointed out that an oversized squared silhouette featuring a metallic Gucci logo on the side of the frame takes centre stage in one of the portraits, while a refined cat-eye acetate style is showcased in another. For men, black squared sunglasses are elevated with the Gucci logo set on a metal plaque encased in acetate.
Embracing the raw nature of close-up imagery, the campaign highlights the emotional depth and character of its protagonists. With this campaign, Gucci aims to blend archival elements, contemporary design language and retro-infused timeless elegance.
