Italian Brand Carpisa Debuts In India, Eyes Opening 100 Stores

The brand collection will also be simultaneously available through brand website and key online portals including Myntra, Nykaa and Tata Cliq

Carpisa, the Italian brand in women’s and men’s bags, luggage, accessories and small leather goods, has officially entered the Indian market with the opening of its first store at Phoenix Market City Mall, Whitefield, Bangalore. Kuvera S.p.A. (Carpisa), based in Napoli, has got into a long term licensing agreement with Neopolis brands to develop the brand strongly in India with a plan of opening more than 100 stores.

Neopolis brands is introducing Carpisa in Bangalore city with omnichannel distribution with flagship store at Phoenix Market City mall along with a couple of shop in shops at Shoppers Stop department store including at Bannerghatta and pop up store at Brigade Orion Mall at Rajajinagar.

“India represents an extraordinarily dynamic and high-potential market for Carpisa, and we are proud to mark our entry with the opening of our first store in Bangalore. With it scale, energy and rapidly evolving consumer landscape, we see India as a key pillar in our international growth strategy, with very strong expectations for the future,” stated Maurizio Carlino, Chief Executive Officer, Carpisa.

Carpisa pricing in India will include women handbags in the price range of Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000, while Gen Z focussed sling bags will be priced at around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000. The brand collection will also be simultaneously available through brand website and key online portals including Myntra, Nykaa and Tata Cliq, showcasing importance of fast growing online channels for young women consumers.
