Ahmedabad-based Knack Packaging reported a 41 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue from operations to Rs 262.46 crore in Q1 FY27, supported by higher sales volumes and improving capacity utilisation across its owned and rented facilities.

Profit after tax (Pat) rose 47.96 per cent to Rs 30.53 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2026, from Rs 20.63 crore a year earlier. Total Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization Ebitda, including other income, increased 53.14 per cent to Rs 59.17 crore.

EBIbitda margin improved to 22.35 per cent from 20.65 per cent in Q1 FY26, while PAT margin rose to 11.53 per cent from 11.03 per cent. The quarter marked Knack Packaging’s first quarterly results announcement following its IPO

Profitability Improves
Ebitda and Pat grew faster than revenue during the quarter. The company reported a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 54.73 per cent and return on equity (ROE) of 37.45 per cent.

Knack Packaging said it continued to monitor prices of key raw materials amid a volatile operating environment, which it identified as critical to safeguarding margins.

“Our first quarterly result following the IPO reflects Knack Packaging’s resilient business model, disciplined execution and commitment to value creation,” said Alpesh Tulsibhai Patel, chairman and managing director, Knack Packaging.

“The strong operational and financial performance in Q1 FY27, combined with the commissioning of our new rented facilities has significantly augmented our manufacturing capacity and supply capability. This positions us to respond faster to demand across domestic and international markets,” Patel said.

Capacity, Export Footprint
Demand remained healthy across grain and pulses, animal food, fertiliser and agrochemical, and consumer end-markets, according to the company.

Knack Packaging has increased its installed manufacturing capacity from 43,300 metric tonne per annum to more than 48,000 metric tonne following the commissioning of new rented facilities. The company said the additional capacity would strengthen its ability to serve domestic and international demand.

The company serves 28 sectors, including animal feed, food grains and pulses, detergents, fertilisers, building materials, cement and chemicals. It exports to more than 74 countries.

Knack Packaging manufactures printed and laminated woven polypropylene (PLWPP) bags, including pinch-bottom, gusseted, block-bottom and retail shopping bags.
