Licious Reduces Losses By 38% In FY23, Revenue Grows 9.5%

Reports note that the company is targeting Rs 1,800 crore in revenue for FY27, with plans to deepen its presence in key micro-markets and scale its infrastructure footprint.

Licious, an omnichannel meat and seafood platform, has reported a 47 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 1,166 crore for the recently concluded financial year, up from Rs 795 crore in FY25.

Reports noted that the growth marks the company’s highest-ever annual revenue jump, supported by stronger execution in core urban markets and a focus on repeat consumption. Online sales continued to anchor the business, rising 28 per cent to around Rs 1,000 crore, driven by improvements in delivery infrastructure and deeper penetration in existing markets.

Licious also saw traction in its offline segment, with revenues increasing significantly as it expanded its network of physical stores, positioning them as discovery and trust-building centres complementing its digital operations.

However, the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) burn rose to Rs 187 crore during the year as it continued investing in supply chain, dark stores and offline expansion.

Looking ahead, Licious is targeting Rs 1,800 crore in revenue for FY27, with plans to deepen its presence in key micro-markets and scale its infrastructure footprint. Reports added that the company’s offline business saw revenue grow from Rs 26 crore in FY25 to Rs 177 crore in FY26. The company has raised over USD 450 million so far, the reports highlighted.
