Mount Everest Breweries Enters Andhra Pradesh With Premium Beer

Stok and Lemount to enter Andhra Pradesh market as Mount Everest Breweries expands presence to 14 states across India

Mount Everest Breweries (MEBL), part of the Associated Kedia Group, has entered Andhra Pradesh with its premium beer brands Stok and Lemount, taking the company’s presence to 14 markets across India.

The expansion is part of the brewer’s plan to operate in 20 states by the end of FY26 and support its target of securing a 10 per cent share of the Indian beer market by 2029.

The company said Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a key market for beer makers due to its growing consumer base and policy changes introduced by the state government in 2024. The rollout of 3,736 retail liquor outlets is expected to support wider distribution and consumption growth.

MEBL said its recently acquired Mysore brewery in Karnataka would support supplies to Andhra Pradesh and other Southern markets through improved logistics and production capacity.

Stok and Lemount will be available through retail outlets as well as the HoReCa segment, including hotels, restaurants and cafés.

“Andhra Pradesh is a natural and strategic step in our journey to build a strong Southern India presence,” said Vedant Kedia, Whole Time Director, Mount Everest Breweries.

“With our Mysore brewery providing a robust supply chain backbone, we are well-positioned to deliver fresh, high-quality products. We are excited to bring Stok and Lemount to consumers in the state and connect with the evolving preferences of modern Indian beer drinkers,” he added.

The company said it plans to strengthen distribution and brand visibility in Andhra Pradesh as part of its wider expansion strategy across India.
