MR DIY, a home improvement retailer, has appointed Vikas Gupta as Group Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant step in the company’s next phase of growth and expansion in the country. Gupta brings with him over 18 years of diverse experience across operations, private equity and management consulting.
Gupta been closely associated with the company’s journey from its early stages, playing a pivotal role in shaping its growth trajectory. From the opening of its first store to building a network of over 425 stores nationwide, he has played a key role in scaling the business while strengthening its core proposition of value and accessibility, the company said in an official statement.

He holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Btech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. The company added that with over 425 stores across India, the brand has already served more than two crore households in the last few years
