Premji Invest-owned Best Value Chem Unveils Rs 550 Cr Plant In Dahej

Covering 30 acres and employing 300 people, the facility will operate at an initial capacity of 10,000 metric tonne per annum

Marking a step forward in its strategic growth plan, Premji Invest-owned Best Value Chem (BVC), a fragrance, flavour and personal care chemical manufacturing company, has unveiled a Rs 550 crore (USD 60 million) fully automated plant at Dahej, about 80 kilometre from Baroda in Gujarat.

The state-of-the-art plant, BVC’s third manufacturing facility, will double the production capacity in the first phase with the flexibility to expand further subsequently. Covering 30 acres and employing 300 people, the facility will operate at an initial capacity of 10,000 metric tonne per annum. Equipped with capabilities such as hydrogenation, Grignard reactions, oxidation, distillation, and esterification, this expansion is designed to support BVC’s future growth and meet the increasing global demand of its customers.

The manufacturing unit has a quality control facility, effluent treatment plant, wastewater recycling facility and an automated robotic warehouse. BVC manufactures over 50 products for flavors, fragrances and personal care ingredients industries and has over 300 clients globally across 30 countries

BVC’s client roster includes global marquee names like the US-based International Flavors & Fragrances Inc (IFF), Swiss-Dutch company DSM-Firmenich, German chemicals major Symrise AG, and Swiss multinational Givaudan. Several Indian export-oriented units also count as BVC’s customers.
