TTK Prestige Opens Innovation Centre For Kitchen Appliances In Bengaluru

The centre will focus on design-led and consumer-centric innovation, strengthening the company’s core technological and product development capabilities

In line with the goal of deploying financial resources over a three-year period to achieve overall business excellence, TTK Prestige has opened a new innovation centre dedicated to kitchen appliances, at Bengaluru named after its Chairman Emeritus Late TT Jagannathan.

The newly established innovation centre will focus on design-led and consumer-centric innovation, strengthening the company’s core technological and product development capabilities. Validation and scaling of new segment opportunities within the kitchen appliances segment will also be a priority area.

“The establishment of the innovation centre is in line with the company’s strategic focus on innovation, development of value-added products and strengthening its long-term competitive position in the kitchen appliances business,” the company said in an exchange filing.

In addition, the company’s existing research and development centre focused on kitchenware at Hosur is currently undergoing a revamp aimed at enhancing its R&D capabilities. The overall investment on these two facilities will be around Rs 15 crore. The official statement added that the company has strengthened its innovation team through the induction of added talent to support its ongoing and future innovation initiatives.

The revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 2,244 crore in the nine months of the current financial year (9MFY26), as compared to Rs 2,065 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal year. The company posted a net profit of Rs 120.59 crore in 9MFY26, a dip from Rs 150.40 crore during the same period a year ago. Total expenses of the company rose to Rs 2,105.57 crore in 9MFY26 from Rs 1,922.75 crore in 9MFY25.
