The company’s net profit stood at Rs 12.5 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal
Driven by volume expansion from its own manufacturing facilities, Kamdhenu, a manufacturer and seller of branded TMT Bars, in the retail segment has reported a 12 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit for the third quarter of the current financial year (Q3FY25). The company’s net profit stood at Rs 12.5 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 11.1 per cent in Q3FY24.
The unaudited financial results of the company revealed a 13 per cent YoY increase in its revenue from operations which surged to Rs 175 crore in the recently concluded quarter as compared to Rs 155 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The company’s profit before tax stood at Rs 16.9 crore during the quarter.
“We are pleased to report a sustained growth trajectory, despite the implementation of the Grap framework in the Delhi NCR region which restricts construction activity our revenue witnessed a growth of 13 per cent year on year and stood at Rs 175 crore. This growth has been driven by robust volume expansion from our own manufacturing facilities, which saw a 17 per cent year-on-year growth,” stated Satish Kumar Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director (MD), Kamdhenu.
The company stated that the revenue from its own facilities saw a surge of 15 per cent YoY to Rs 141.3 crore during the quarter, compared to Rs 122.6 crore. The revenue from royalty income was Rs 33.4 crore in Q3FY25, up from 32 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
Agarwal added that the demand for branded TMT bars in India is poised for strong growth, fuelled by infrastructure development, urbanisation, and government initiatives such as Smart Cities and affordable housing, as highlighted in the Union Budget 2025.
