Wow! Momo Forays Into FMCG Cup Noodles Segment

The company states that the range features a fusion of iconic Asian and Indian flavours, including Thukpa, Khao Suey, Manchurian, Korean, and Chinese Bhel

Aimed at strengthening itself in the instant noodles market, Wow! Momo, a quick service restaurant (QSR) brand, has made its entry into the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) cup noodles segment with the introduction of Wow! Noodles – a range of desi-Asian flavours.

The range features a fusion of iconic Asian and Indian flavours, including Thukpa, Khao Suey, Manchurian, Korean, and Chinese Bhel. Expanding nationwide with omnichannel availability, Wow! Noodles has been making its mark across leading quick commerce platforms such as Instamart, Zepto, Blinkit, BigBasket, Flipkart Minutes, and D Mart Ready, along with modern trade giants, the company stated in a statement.

“With Wow! Noodles, we are disrupting the cup noodles category by bringing the perfect blend of desi and Asian flavours in a format that is both convenient and exciting. As we continue to expand our FMCG footprint, this launch marks a significant step towards making Wow! Momo a household name beyond QSR,” stated Sagar Daryani, Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder, Wow! Momo.

As Wow! Momo continues to expand its FMCG portfolio, Wow! Noodles is eyeing to redefine instant meals with delicious flavours. Wow! FMCG was introduced about 24 months ago with packaged momos. With 16 SKUs in Momos and now with 9 SKUs of cup noodles, it is available in more than 10,000 stores and distribution points. The company stated that the division is already at a 60 crore (ARR) within a short duration of introduction its range. The company aims to hit an annual 100 crore business within 24 months.

With innovative consumer engagement and product trials, Wow! Noodles is driving deep consumer engagement through immersive in-store activations, displays, and extensive product sampling in modern trade outlets, the official statement added.
