The company is eyeing to include 1,500 of its company-serviced hotels in the current financial year (FY26) as part of the initiative
With in-house kitchens and quick service restaurants (QSR) across its company-serviced hotels known as Townhouse by Oyo, the hospitality chain Oyo has notified plans to mark its entry into the food and beverages (F&B) segment.
Aimed at enabling guests to order food from in-house dining facilities and through online platforms, including the Oyo app, the company is eyeing to include 1,500 of its company-serviced hotels in the current financial year (FY26) as part of the initiative, the reports added.
The company is expecting the move to deliver 5 to 10 per cent additional revenue at the hotel level on a stable state basis. The reports added that depending on the individual hotel profile and infrastructure, the kitchen setup would vary. It would range from pantry setups for essential food items to fully equipped commercial kitchens offering a wide-ranging menu.
In an attempt to eliminate the wait time of traditional restaurants by offering ready-to-eat food varieties and on-the-go customer needs, the company is bringing QSR carts and lobby stores. The reports highlighted that these QSR carts and lobby stores would be under the brand name Townhouse Café and would be in addition to the in-house kitchens.
Earlier, the company rolled out a pilot project in January, which included 100 company-serviced hotels in major cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Bengaluru. The reports added that the company is aiming to improve the in-hotel dining experience for the guests by providing quality meal options which are fresh and convenient.
