Company looks to leverage former India captain’s appeal to strengthen rural outreach and farmer engagement
Aries Agro has appointed former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly as its Brand Champion, as the agri-inputs company looks to strengthen its presence in rural markets and expand farmer outreach.
The company, which operates in micronutrients and specialty plant nutrition, said the association is aimed at improving engagement with farmers and supporting awareness of modern agricultural practices.
Aries Agro said Ganguly’s association will be used across television, digital platforms, and on-ground initiatives focused on farmers.
Chairman and Managing Director, Rahul Mirchandani said the partnership reflects the company’s focus on credibility and trust in the agriculture sector. He said Ganguly’s leadership qualities align with the company’s values.
Ganguly said he was pleased to associate with the company and highlighted its work in agriculture. “It’s truly a pleasure to understand the roots of the nation and witness how Aries Agro continues to contribute towards building it,” he said.
The company said the collaboration will focus on farmer engagement and awareness programmes, without giving financial details of the agreement.
