Deoleo-owned brand introduces new bottle sizes and refreshes existing formats to cater to varied household consumption needs
Figaro Multipurpose Olive Oil, one of India’s established olive oil brands owned by Deoleo, is expanding its product range with new packaging formats aimed at offering consumers greater choice and convenience.
The expanded portfolio introduces new 250ml and 500ml PET bottles, alongside refreshed 45ml and 100ml packs. The new formats are designed to cater to different consumption patterns, from consumers using smaller quantities to households with higher olive oil requirements.
The move builds on Figaro’s presence in Indian households for more than four decades, as the brand looks to adapt its product offerings to changing consumer preferences and purchasing habits.
The new pack formats will be available through the company’s distribution network, covering general trade, modern retail and e-commerce platforms.
Figaro Targets Varied Household Needs
The packaging refresh retains the brand’s established visual identity across all four PET bottle formats, including its logo, olive and oil-drop graphic, and the Figaro Multipurpose Olive Oil branding.
The bottles feature an ergonomic design and flip-top caps intended to make handling and pouring easier. A side panel displaying the phrase “Jaitoon Ka Tel” also maintains a familiar Indian-language reference for consumers.
According to the company, the expanded range is intended to broaden access to the product across different pack sizes and price points, allowing households to choose formats suited to their requirements.
Figaro Multipurpose Olive Oil is among the brand’s fast-selling products in India, the company said.
Deoleo Highlights Consumer-Led Product Strategy
Satarupa Majumdar, Director of Marketing and Innovation for India at Deoleo, said the new formats reflected the company’s focus on making Figaro Multipurpose Olive Oil accessible across different consumption occasions and household needs.
“As consumer needs and purchase habits continue to evolve, we are focused on making Figaro Multipurpose Olive Oil more accessible across different usage occasions and household needs,” Majumdar said.
She added that the packaging refresh aimed to give consumers greater flexibility while retaining the quality and brand trust associated with Figaro.
The launch forms part of the company’s efforts to keep the brand relevant to contemporary consumers while building on its established presence in the Indian market.
