Jewellery retailer to reach 391 outlets across 13 countries by March
Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the world’s sixth-largest jewellery retailer, is set to open 12 new showrooms across India by March 2025, further expanding its presence. With this, the company’s global showroom count will reach 391, covering 13 countries and 19 states in India.
The new showrooms will be launched in Panvel (Mumbai), Sinhagad Road (Pune), Brahmapur and Soubhagya Nagar (Odisha), Dhanbad (Jharkhand), Hospet, Nagarbhavi, and Chitradurga (Karnataka), Nandyal, Amalapuram, and Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh), and Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). The company has invested Rs 600 crore in this expansion and hired 406 employees in various roles this financial year.
As part of its aggressive growth strategy, Malabar Gold & Diamonds aims to open 60 more showrooms in 2025, including its first stores in the UK, Canada, and the Middle East in April.
Consumer Awareness & Ethical Sourcing
Alongside its expansion, the brand has launched a consumer awareness campaign featuring actor and brand ambassador NTR Jr. The campaign highlights Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ commitment to responsible sourcing, authentic hallmarked jewellery, and certified natural diamonds.

All showrooms will offer a diverse range of traditional and contemporary jewellery collections, with a focus on customer service excellence.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds operates 11 state-of-the-art factories in India and five international units, with key facilities in Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. These manufacturing hubs ensure quality craftsmanship while maintaining strict legal compliance, safety, and sustainability standards.
Beyond business, the company is committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through its ‘Hunger Free World’ initiative, which provides 60,000 meals daily across 81 cities in India and 10,000 meals to schoolchildren in Zambia. Additionally, Malabar has established 581 micro learning centres across India, helping 25,800 street children transition into formal education.
