Revenue climbs 8.4 per cent to Rs 533 crore, board declares Rs 0.60 interim dividend; stock declines despite steady quarterly growth
Mrs Bectors Food FMCG, Bakery fo Specialities reported a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit for the third quarter of FY26, with profit rising to Rs 38 crore from Rs 34.5 crore in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter grew 8.4 per cent to Rs 533.3 crore, compared with Rs 492 crore a year earlier.
The company also posted improved operating performance during the quarter. Ebitda rose 11.4 per cent to Rs 68.3 crore from Rs 61.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. Ebitda margin inched up to 12.8 per cent from 12.5 per cent, reflecting a modest gain in operating efficiency.
The Board approved an interim dividend of Rs 0.60 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each, amounting to 30 per cent for FY26. The company has set 17 February 2026, as the record date to determine shareholders eligible for the interim payout.
Mrs Bectors Food Specialities manufactures and markets biscuits and bakery products under brands including Mrs Bector’s Cremica and English Oven, serving customers in both domestic and overseas markets.
Despite reporting steady growth across key financial parameters and announcing the interim dividend, shares of the company fell nearly 4 per cent on Wednesday.
