Tasty Bite Eatables’ food brand brings ready noodles, liquid sauces or broths, vegetables and crunchy toppings into a two-minute preparation format
Tasty Bite Eatables’ food brand Cheffin has entered the Asian noodle kit segment with four products that combine ready noodles with liquid sauces or broths, vegetables and crunchy toppings, targeting consumers seeking quicker alternatives to preparing Asian dishes from scratch.
The range includes Pad Thai, Miso Ramen, Spicy Kimchi and Khow Suey. The products are available on Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, besides Amazon, with the company positioning the format between conventional instant noodles and more elaborate Asian meal preparation.
Unlike standard instant noodles that typically use dry noodle cakes and powdered seasoning, the Cheffin kits use ready noodles with liquid sauces or broths and include vegetables and separate crunchy toppings. The company said the products can be prepared in two minutes.
The products contain 0 per cent maida and no palm oil or artificial preservatives, according to Cheffin. The company said the combination of ready noodles, sauces or broths and toppings is intended to provide different textures and flavours within a single preparation.
Dilen Gandhi, Managing Director, Tasty Bite Eatables, said consumers have become more familiar with Asian cuisines through travel, restaurant dining and social media, increasing interest in preparing such dishes at home. He said the company developed the format to reduce the effort involved in making Asian dishes while retaining elements such as sauces, broths and toppings.
Cheffin currently offers cooking kits for Indian gravies and is expanding its portfolio into Asian cuisine with the noodle range. The company did not disclose investment in the new range or its sales targets.
