PizzaExpress Expands Delhi-NCR Footprint With Aerocity Outlet

PizzaExpress expands its India footprint with a new Aerocity restaurant, taking its network to 38 outlets across key markets.

The new Worldmark restaurant expands the UK-based chain’s presence in Delhi-NCR

PizzaExpress has opened its 38th restaurant in India at World St. at 5 Worldmark, Aerocity, New Delhi, expanding its presence in the Delhi-NCR market. The outlet is operated by Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group (GIHG), which manages PizzaExpress’ India operations.

The company currently has restaurants across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune, Punjab, Lucknow and Hyderabad.

The Aerocity opening comes as PizzaExpress continues to expand its India network through what GIHG described as “carefully selected locations”. The new restaurant is positioned within Worldmark, a commercial and hospitality destination that caters to office-goers, travellers and leisure consumers.

Rohan Pewekar, CEO, Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group, said the opening was part of the company’s “steady growth and long-term commitment” to India. “The launch of our 38th PizzaExpress restaurant in India is in line with our steady growth and long-term commitment in India,” Pewekar said.

Ramit Bharti Mittal, Founder and Director, Gourmet Investments Hospitality Group, said the Aerocity location would bring the brand closer to travellers and young professionals seeking casual dining options. “We are looking forward to bringing the PizzaExpress experience closer to a wider audience that appreciates good ingredients, craftsmanship and social dining,” he added.

PizzaExpress’ India menu includes pizzas, appetisers, salads, pastas and desserts, with the new restaurant also featuring its open-kitchen format. The chain, founded in London in 1965, operates more than 330 restaurants in the UK and has a presence across 13 countries globally.
