Hospitality veteran to spearhead food innovation and operational excellence as specialty coffee and chocolate brand prepares for Pan-India growth
Savorworks Coffee & Chocolate has appointed Chef Hemant Bisht as Head Chef, strengthening its leadership team as the specialty coffee and bean-to-bar chocolate brand accelerates its transformation into a broader café, restaurant and bar concept.
The appointment comes as Savorworks seeks to expand its culinary offerings and establish a scalable dining model to support its long-term growth plans across India. Chef Hemant will oversee culinary operations at the brand’s Greater Kailash-II and Gurugram outlets while helping shape its future expansion strategy.
Focus On Building A Comprehensive Dining Experience
Founded in 2019, Savorworks has built a reputation for specialty coffee, artisanal chocolates, innovative beverages and baked products. With the addition of Chef Hemant, the company aims to elevate its food programme and create a more integrated dining experience that complements its existing offerings.
The company said the appointment reflects its ambition to ensure consistency in food quality, menu innovation and guest experience as it expands into new markets.

Bringing Luxury Hospitality Experience
Chef Hemant brings more than 13 years of experience across luxury hospitality, premium dining and fine-dining establishments. Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading hospitality brands including Indigo Hospitality, Passcode Hospitality’s SAZ and Mesa Kitchen & Bar.
A graduate of ITM Dehradun, he received professional training at Jaypee Residency Manor in Mussoorie and gained experience at luxury wellness retreat Ananda in the Himalayas before holding positions at InterContinental Chennai and other hospitality establishments.
Throughout his career, he has focused on menu development, kitchen management, operational efficiency and team leadership.
Supporting Pan-India Expansion Plans
Beyond overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, Chef Hemant will play a key role in developing scalable culinary systems, mentoring future teams and creating menu frameworks for upcoming outlets.
The company said his appointment aligns closely with its ambitions to expand nationally while maintaining consistency across locations.
In his new role, he will work alongside the brand’s coffee, chocolate, bakery and beverage teams to deliver cohesive experiences centred on craftsmanship, quality and innovation.

As competition intensifies in India’s premium café and experiential dining segment, Savorworks is increasingly positioning itself as a destination that combines food, coffee, chocolate and community under one roof.
The company currently operates outlets in New Delhi and Gurugram and manufactures both its coffee and chocolate in-house, allowing greater control over quality and product development.
With Chef Hemant joining the leadership team, Savorworks aims to strengthen its food credentials while laying the foundation for a broader national presence in the coming years.
