Starbucks India Celebrates Diwali With #HumariSpecialJagah

Reimagining connections and community, Starbucks’ festive campaign celebrates the evolving spirit of Diwali through heartfelt storytelling, handcrafted flavours, and shared experiences

 

Starbucks India has unveiled its new Diwali campaign, #HumariSpecialJagah, a heartwarming celebration of togetherness that redefines what it means to connect and celebrate in today’s evolving urban landscape. The campaign, centred around a short film, captures how festive warmth transcends traditional family boundaries—embracing neighbours, colleagues, and friends who become our extended families.
For over a decade, Starbucks has stood as The Third Place in India — a welcoming space between home and work that has become a daily ritual of comfort and connection. This festive season, that familiar meri special jagah transforms into humari special jagah — a shared space of laughter, coffee, and celebration.
Set in Gokul Heights, the film follows neighbours across different ages as they gather at their local Starbucks, celebrating Diwali with heartfelt simplicity. Amid the glow of warm lights and festive décor, the story unfolds through moments of shared desserts, inside jokes, and genuine connection. With indulgent creations such as the Saffron Malpua Cheesecake and Saffron Chocolate Frappuccino, Starbucks becomes the setting where Diwali feels just like home.
Speaking about the campaign, Mitali Maheshwari, Head of Product and Marketing, TATA Starbucks, said, “At its heart, Starbucks is a place of belonging and connection. This Diwali, through #HumariSpecialJagah, we celebrate how people come together with friends and neighbours who become chosen family. By spotlighting these evolving cultural moments, we’ve created an experience that reflects the reimagined spirit of togetherness unique to India.”

Starbucks has also launched a limited-edition Diwali menu, featuring beverages like the Saffron Latte, Marigold Oat Cold Brew, and Saffron Masala Chai, alongside festive desserts such as Saffron Pistachio Tiramisu and Saffron Rose Loaf Cake. Exclusive gift hampers and merchandise, including the Diwali Blend, Bearista Plushie, and Iced Latte Candle, complete the experience — making this Diwali truly a celebration of belonging, flavour, and shared joy.
