The Abhiramapuram store, Starbucks India’s 24th in Chennai and 5th experiential outlet nationwide, blends coffee, craft, and culture with India-first flavours and exclusive brews
Starbucks India has announced the launch of its first coffee experiential store in Chennai, marking the company’s 24th store in the city and its fifth such experiential concept in the country. The new Abhiramapuram outlet aims to bring customers closer to the craft of coffee through immersive design, curated brews, and a celebration of India’s rich coffee culture.
Every aspect of the store has been designed to narrate Starbucks’ deep-rooted coffee heritage. From warm interiors and layered textures to a curated Brew Bar experience, the outlet encourages customers to explore the journey of coffee from bean to cup.
India-first flavours and exclusive beverages
Chennai, with its storied filter coffee tradition, inspires the store’s India-first beverage menu. Options include the Cinnamon Jaggery Latte, Malabar Coconut Cream Latte, Cocoa Birds Eye Chilli Latte, and Tamarind Red Peroo Shikanji Cold Brew — each infused with ingredients familiar to Indian palates.
In a first for Starbucks India, two exclusive beverages will be available only at the Abhiramapuram store:
Banoffee Latte, a fusion of espresso, banana sweetness, and caramel notes.
Banoffee Cold Brew, a refreshing mix of cold brew, banana, and caramel.
Craft and community at the core
The experiential store also introduces customers to advanced brewing methods using the Black Eagle manual espresso machine, offering baristas greater precision and personalisation in every cup. Coffee enthusiasts can also explore a global range of beans, from Starbucks® Single-Origin Zambia to Pike Place Roast.
