SailThru Ventures backs premium A2, organic foods brand amid 25–30 per cent sector growth
Aman Gupta has invested in Rosier Foods through SailThru Ventures, as the premium, clean-label foods segment in India gathers momentum. The deal size and valuation were not disclosed.4
Rosier Foods, which operates in the high-margin A2 dairy and organic staples category, is currently clocking an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 100 crore and is targeting Rs 150 crore by FY27, implying a 50 per cent scale-up over the next two years.
The company is operating at a net profit margin of 5–6 per cent, a relatively strong metric in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) food space where profitability remains a challenge for many new-age brands, according to the issued statement.
Founded by Gaurav Taneja along with Ankur Tyagi and Sumit Mishra, the brand focuses on Vedic food processes and premium offerings such as bilona-made A2 Gir cow ghee, raw honey and Ayurvedic products.
The investment comes at a time when India’s organic and natural foods market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 25–30 per cent, with premium sub-segments like A2 dairy, raw honey and functional Ayurvedic nutrition expanding at an even faster pace, driven by rising health awareness and a shift away from ultra-processed foods.
Rosier’s model is built on a farm-to-table supply chain, with direct farmer linkages aimed at ensuring traceability, quality control and better unit economics. This structure also helps support margins while maintaining product authenticity, key differentiators in the premium segment.
The fresh capital will be deployed to expand sourcing networks, strengthen supply chain infrastructure and scale farmer partnerships. The company will also invest in brand-building and customer acquisition, while expanding its product portfolio in adjacent high-growth wellness categories.
“Consumers today are increasingly conscious about what they consume, and brands like Rosier Foods are addressing this shift with authenticity and purpose. Their focus on Vedic processes, quality sourcing, and farmer empowerment makes this a compelling opportunity. Through SailThru Ventures, we are excited to partner with Rosier Foods as they scale and build a trusted nutrition brand,” Gupta said.
The founders said the partnership would enable the company to scale while maintaining its focus on traditional nutrition and farmer-first sourcing.
The deal highlights increasing investor appetite for profitable, niche D2C food brands that combine premium positioning with supply chain control, as competition intensifies in India’s fast-growing health and wellness market.
