DS Group’s Catch adds pizza pasta, oregano, Jeeravan, Podi Masala to portfolio
DS Group-owned Catch Salt and Spices has expanded its sprinkler portfolio with the launch of new seasoning variants, including pizza pasta seasoning, chilli flakes, oregano, mixed herbs and magic masala, as the company looks to tap rising demand for ready-to-use flavour enhancers in Indian kitchens.
The company has also added region-specific products such as Jeeravan, a poha masala popular in Madhya Pradesh, and South Indian-style Podi Masala, signalling a sharper focus on local taste preferences alongside global food trends.
The expansion marks Catch’s shift from its legacy salt-and-pepper tabletop sprinklers into a broader seasoning category aimed at consumers experimenting with international and regional cuisines at home.

“The expansion of the Catch Sprinkler range is a step towards building a more contemporary and versatile seasoning portfolio that blends national trends with strong regional relevance,” he added.
The new range will be sold through general trade, modern retail, ecommerce and quick commerce channels across India. The products are packaged in moisture-resistant HIPS containers designed for tabletop usage and controlled sprinkling.
Catch currently operates across nine spice and seasoning categories with over 140 variants and 330 SKUs. The brand, launched in 1987 with its table-top salt sprinkler, now claims presence across more than 7 lakh retail outlets through a network of over 1,500 distributors nationwide.
