Move signals leadership continuity as Allcargo Global prepares for its next growth phase
Allcargo Global (AGL), the international supply chain arm of the Allcargo Group, has announced the elevation of Vaishnav Shetty as Deputy Managing Director, with immediate effect. He has also been inducted into the Board of Directors of Allcargo Global. AGL represents the Group’s largest business, contributing nearly 80 per cent of its annual revenue.
Vaishnav Shetty, son of Allcargo Group Founder and Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty, will work closely with Adarsh Hegde, Managing Director, Allcargo Global Limited. His appointment underscores the Group’s structured succession planning and its focus on building a future-ready, digital-first leadership framework.
The elevation comes at a critical juncture as Allcargo Group progresses with its ongoing restructuring exercise, under which its businesses are being reorganised into four independent and focused entities. As part of this process, the Group’s International Supply Chain business has been demerged into Allcargo Global Limited, which is proposed to be listed, enabling sharper strategic focus, improved capital allocation, and greater operational agility.

An alumnus of Emory University, USA, Vaishnav joined the Allcargo Group in 2017 and has since led multiple portfolios across the organisation. He has played a pivotal role in driving the Group’s digital transformation, including the adoption of data-led and AI-enabled processes. As Chief Digital Officer of Allcargo Logistics Limited, he spearheaded the Group’s digital and innovation agenda, leading to the launch of several industry-first solutions aimed at improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
In his earlier role as Executive Director – North Asia, Vaishnav led strategic initiatives to strengthen and consolidate Allcargo Global’s position in the region. A key milestone in his journey has been his involvement in the development of ECU360, the Group’s flagship digital freight platform. ECU360 is regarded as one of the most advanced digital freight solutions globally, setting benchmarks for usability, transparency, and customer adoption, and reinforcing Allcargo’s leadership in international consolidation and supply chain solutions.
Beyond technology, Vaishnav has also been closely involved in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that support the Group’s long-term international growth ambitions, positioning Allcargo Global to capitalise on evolving global trade dynamics.
