Blinkit’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa expressed astonishment at the overwhelming fan enthusiasm for the India blue jersey.
“We initially launched the official India fan jersey on Blinkit at the beginning of the season. While the sales during the Ind vs Aus match seemed promising, I underestimated the fervor. The IndVsPak match surpassed all expectations,” Dhindsa mentioned in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday evening, during the clash between the arch-rivals in the world’s largest cricket stadium.
He compared the jersey sales on 8 October, when India played Australia, to those on 14 October, the day of the India vs Pakistan match.
