L’Opera To Open Art Café, Bringing Together Art And Coffee In Unique Experience

The era of sipping artisanal coffee has seamlessly merged with the realm of art, transforming cafes into havens for artists to not only unwind but also expand their creative horizons.
Art cafés are places that combine a traditional café with an art gallery or creative space. These spaces offer a unique and relaxing atmosphere for people to enjoy food and drink while surrounded by art, often showcasing the work of local artists and an atmosphere designed to inspire creativity and conversation.
To offer this experience, L’Opera is all set to open its Art Café on 14th October and the guest of honour for the evening is Thierry Mathau, French Ambassador to India.

The cafe itself is a canvas of classic style, painted in hues of soft light and adorned with the timeless charm of French allure. The walls, are bathed in a gentle palette, while the dark hardwood floor beneath adds a touch of grounding sophistication.

This will be the second, revisited and expanded, edition of the initial concept which was inaugurated by the Minister of State, Madam Neelakshi Lekhi and H.E. Ambassador of France Emmanuel Lenain on 25 March of this year at Bikaner House.

“L’Opéra has always been the quintessential symbol of French Pâtisserie and Bakery in India and the pioneer in bringing the very French concept of “Salon de Thé” (Tea Room) to the Indian capital. All L’Opéra outlets are designed and operated in such a manner as to transport the guests and patrons to the heart of Paris through their refined atmosphere and exquisite products,” said Kazem Samandari, Executive Chairman of L’Opéra.

According to Samandari, the latest Art Cafés add an additional artistic element to the initial concept through the exhibition of original – very reasonably priced – artworks which are curated by the art expert Dr. Vladimir Zeitsev and available to be admired and purchased.

L’Opéra shall, in the future, organise musical and literary events in its Art Cafés and thus enrich both the artistic as well as the culinary landscape of Delhi NCR.
