P&G India has appointed Kumar Venkatasubramanian as CEO effective 1 May 2024. He will succeed LV Vaidyanathan, who is leaving the company after 28 years of service to pursue personal interests.
Venkatasubramanian has played a significant role in P&G India’s growth journey, having held various positions, including leading the sales function, before serving as CEO of P&G Australia.
He joined P&G India’s sales team straight from IIM Calcutta in 2000 and brings nearly 24 years of experience, primarily in India across different sales roles.
Currently serving as CEO of P&G Australia and New Zealand, Venkatasubramanian has driven record metrics, category growth and strong retailer partnerships.
He is also known for advocating Equality and Inclusion, expanding impactful programs for employees and communities, including P&G ANZ’s partnership with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
