Zen Diamond, a Turkish diamond jewellery business, has revealed its plans to open chain stores in major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore, as well as build an online presence in the initial phase.
Zen Diamond targets ambitious young and middle-aged consumers in India. The firm has stated that it intends to open outlets in tier- I, II and III markets.
Emil Guzelis, Chairman of the Zen Diamond Group, has teamed up with Neil Sonawala to oversee the Zen Diamond business in India. Neil has decades of expertise building jewellery distribution networks in Hong Kong, China, and Southeast Asia, as well as key advising roles with the De Beers group and large retail chains in the region, according to the company.
“Given India’s anticipated status as the fastest-growing market for diamond jewelry over the next few decades, Zen Diamond aims to capitalize on this opportunity by becoming the preferred diamond jewelry brand for Indians,” Emil Guzelis said.

Zen Diamond, founded in Istanbul in 2000 by Emil Guzelis, is a Turkish diamond jewellery business with almost 400 locations worldwide.
